Medford, Massachusetts, October 20, 2021: The New England Joint Board UNITE HERE is pleased to announce its endorsement of Medford City Councilor Zac Bears for re-election. The labor union, which represents workers from a number of industries across the northeast, has issued the following statement:

“Councilor Zac Bears has been a steadfast ally to the labor movement throughout his career. His efforts during his first term on the Medford City Council have similarly been unwavering. We appreciate Councilor Bears affirming that “Union jobs pay higher wages, which is needed [in] this community,” and we look forward to his continued leadership on issues that are important to the working people of Medford. Please vote for Zac Bears on Tuesday, November 2nd.”
